Our Mission

Our mission is to empower individuals dealing with pain to better understand their body. With the goal to help them heal, decrease pain, and improve quality of life without the use of injections, medications, or surgery.

Traditional healthcare often focuses on treating symptoms. At Intuitive Movement we use an integrative approach assessing the full body in order to find the root cause of the problem to achieve optimal health and mobility.

By addressing your physical needs while nurturing your mental and emotional well-being, we help you achieve complete, lasting health.

One on One care

We prioritize personalized, one-on-one care to ensure each patient receives the attention they deserve. Our individualized approach allows us to tailor treatment plans that address your unique needs and goals. With dedicated sessions, we foster a supportive environment where healing and progress can thrive at your own pace.

Individualized Program

We create individualized programs designed to address your specific needs and goals, ensuring a customized path to healing. We treat the whole individual, not just the symptoms, focusing on both physical recovery and overall well-being. By tailoring each program to you, we help restore balance and empower you to achieve lasting health and vitality.

Meet Dr. Katelyn Haverstick, PT, DPT

Hi! I’m Kate, owner of Intuitive Movement PT. I have over 8 years experience as a PT. I have worked with diverse patient populations treating both orthopedic and neurological conditions. I have experience in multiple settings including inpatient rehab, outpatient, and acute care.

Since I was young, I have had a passion for helping others. I was always curious about how the body worked with an inherent interest in healthy living. Growing up playing sports led me to a very active lifestyle. That passion was validated when I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. Along with PT I am also a certified yoga instructor and reiki practitioner.  Yoga helped me grow on a personal level. It changed my perspective on life, taught self-awareness, and how to be more present.  This further helped me grow as a clinician.

While traditional interventions all have their time and place, I believed there had to be a better way to address the pain patients were dealing with other than medications, injections, or surgeries. I attended my first John F. Barnes Myofascial Release course, and knew it was the missing link. Since then,  it has been a vital part of my practice.

I am passionate about my work and use an integrative approach combining myofascial release, exercise, and yoga to help with pain, injuries, and movement disorders. Pain can greatly impact our lives, but we don’t have to succumb to it.  If you’re struggling with pain or injury, I would love the chance to help you!
